About the ACT

The Aeronautical Center of Technology (ACT) gives students the opportunity to explore aviation, aerospace, engineering, and technology through hands-on learning in a real aviation environment. Our goal is to help students build knowledge, confidence, and practical skills while discovering the many educational and career pathways available throughout the aviation industry.

Located at Indy South Greenwood Airport, ACT provides students with access to classrooms, aviation technology, hands-on projects, and an active airport environment where learning extends beyond the traditional classroom.

ACT also relies on educators, aviation professionals, community partners, volunteers, and supporters who share our commitment to expanding access to aviation and aerospace education. Together, we are creating opportunities for the next generation to learn, explore, and prepare for the future.

Our Mission & Vision

Our mission is to immerse students in aviation, aerospace, engineering, and technology while providing the knowledge, skills, and experiences that can open the door to future education and careers. We are especially committed to expanding access for students who may not otherwise have aviation or aerospace opportunities available through their schools.

We envision a future where every student has the opportunity to discover what is possible in aviation and aerospace. Through hands-on learning, mentorship, industry exposure, and community support, ACT helps students build confidence, explore career pathways, and prepare for what comes next.
